have someone check around the bell housing of the transmission to amke sure the dust shield isn't hitting the flywheel and to make sure there are no other problems in that area
I have an 04 Venture that did the same thing. Turned out to be the Engine mounts, apparently it is really common. Since i have gotten them replaced i haven't heard the noise or had a single problem.
Check the fluid level in the transmission. Sound like a part may be going out inside the torque converter or transmission itself.
