Did you use a granular "shock" like HTH? Need to know about your water make up and chemistry history. Length of filtration time run.
Without a knowledge of your pool all I can do is generalize. Add more 12% liq. chlorine and adjust the pH to 7.6, extend the filter run time by at least 6 more hrs.

along with the above answer, if your pool isn't clearing up after shocking the correct amount, your filter is full. backwash it and continue filtering.
we had the "cloudy pool problem" for about 2 weeks this summer. We shocked it almost daily and found that the only way the cloudiness went away, was when ALL the chemicals were in balance. You have to check the PH and conditioner too. When you get it all right, the cloudiness will disappear. Good luck!!
give it a few days it should clear up you may have to backwash if using sand filter
Add clarifier, available at your local pool supply.
Rian
Shock treatment for the green part. If it is still cloudy you can add a clarifier sold at your local pool supply.
The water in a pool can be cloudy because the chemicals are not balanced. If people wear sunscreen and go in the pool before it has soaked in it can also cause the water to become cloudy.

Use extra chlorine for about a week to shock the pool. As long as the water stays clear, you don't have a problem. If the pool gets cloudy, consult a professional.
pump it out
algee
an indication the chlorine is not working effectively.
3800 gals of pool water shock it with 1 gal bleach
Yes; mix the shock with water and pour it into the pool directly in several locations and run the filter.
shock it
Not likely, make sure all chemicals are balanced. If still cloudy, use a clarifier sold at pool stores.
It may kill the algae but the algae needs to be filtered or the pool will remain green and cloudy You need to dissolve the chlorine and pour around the pool then brush the pool in order to not damage your plaster. This will help get the chlorine throughout the pool.
