I bought an AKC puppy there in May of 2008. They stated they did not have the papers yet but they would be there in 7-10 days. I came into that store repeatedly for months and was told they were not in yet, then suddenly no one knew about the papers. After coming in repeatedly at least once a month over the rest of the year, the assistant manager finally called me and said that we signed for the papers. At this point I went into the store with all my paperwork and asked them to show me the receipt that i signed for the paper work. This was the spot on the paperwork that they told me was the registration for the extended warranty for the puppy. Since they matched and we were all agreed that they papers were not there when I bought the puppy, she called the manager again at which time they said no no, that is not the issue, the issue now is that they were mailed in June. I said that would be fine, if they provided me with the registered receipt, I would file a claim with the post office. At this time they said they did not have a receipt. So then the clerk called the owner who said that is too bad they must have been lost in the mail but if you give me another 50 dollars i will see if i can get another temporary set of papers but no guarantee. That sounds very fishy to me, and now I will be taking them to small claims court for the difference in price between a registered and non registered dog.
