geographic isolation is when a physical barrier divides a population and they can no longer reproduce,
reproductive isolation is when a species can no longer reproduce offspring.
hope this helps!
A population is split by a geographic barrier, such as a mountain range or river, and the two new populations gene pools vary in alleles statistically and the mutations in the individual organisms of the population will also vary. Thus, over time, the alleles of the two populations gene pools will vary enough and have varying enough selection pressure to possibly split into two wholly different species which can not longer interbreed, one with the other.
GEOGRAPHICAL ISOLATION occurs where the organism of the same species are separated to different environment and undergo natural selection to survive. They then accumulate lots of different characteristic. The longer they isolated, the more different they are. Thus, mutation or variation of one group are not able to be found in other groups. At the end they're not able to reproduce together and occurs REPRODUCTIVE ISOLATION and then evolve become different species.
Extinction: Describes a species of organisms that has died out completely.
Reproductive Isolation: The inability of members of a population to successfully interbreed with members of another population of the same or a related species.
Speciation is when two species have evolved too far from one another to mate. Reproductive isolation is when two species can't get to one another in order to mate or chooses not too mate with each other.
Speciation is the creation of a new species. Geographical isolation may cause speciation. Previously breeding organisms are separated (by a canyon, mountain range or large body of water ) Over a long period of time they become reproductively isolated, which means they can no longer reproduce to make viable offspring. Their mating rituals may differ, their body structures may have changed or a chance mutation may have occurred which prevents successful reproduction.

Allopatric speciation.Allopactric speciation. Geographic isolation. Adaptive radiation can also result from geographic isolation.
allopatric separation
The separation of a small group of individuals from the main population is known as isolation or founder effect.
It is geographic isolation.
It prevents the two populations from interbreeding. :) -Apex-
The geographic isolation of the island led to the development of unique species found nowhere else in the world.
it prevents gene flow between populations
Reproductive isolation
Any factor that in nature prevents interbreeding between individuals of the same species or of closely related species, for example geographic separation is itself a reproductive isolation because is a factor that prevents interbreeding. -extinction of one species -production of infertile offspring -development of physical differences
cultural traditions and practices, and can lead to the development of unique languages and belief systems within that population. Additionally, isolation may also contribute to genetic diversity or specific adaptations that help the group survive in their environment.
Separation of benzene from a mixture is isolation of benzene.
