I'ts possible it depends on your level of hormons and how late are you . because if you are late but not that late then its possible that the test cant read the hormon that is required for the test to read positive . or you are having problems and would need to go to the doctor about why you havnt had a period yet because it can lead to a serious problem
If you are thinking you are 3 months pregnant and a preg test still shows negative, then this cannot be the case. It is possible a preg tes will not show positive until you are 6 weeks alone (if you have low HCG levels), but not 12 weeks. If you "feel" pregnant, and you are still testing negative, it could be a phantom pregnancy, or there could be something wrong with your periods.
It's possible. One of the first signs of pregnancy is a missed period but you usually have symptoms. I would take a pregnancy test to be sure. Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. Here is a link to a website that will calculate the probability of your pregnancy: http://www.thepregnancytest.com/
Yes, you can get a false negative, but not a false positive. Your second test could be wrong, I'd do it again. Make sure you follow the directions for that test (they can vary) and read it at the proper time.
No
yes, it happend to me.... i wish you the best of luck hun
Yes
The negative pregnancy test is the defining answer, regarding pregnancy - once your period is a week or so late - if you are pregnant, the hCG will be high enough to be detected.
maybe your pregnant, maybe your period cycle is changing
Home pregnancy tests can occasionally have incorrect results. I would suggest waiting another week and trying another test. If the results are still negative and you still have not started your period, you should probably see a doctor.
Some tests can show positive before your period is even late. It depends on how sensitive the test is. If using an early detection test with negative results, retest when your period is a week late. The test looks for hCG, a hormone that can vary greatly from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy.
Hard telling really. I took 2 hpts before I started bleeding and they were positive. Then when I was bleeding I took 2 more and they were negative. Haven't gone to the doctor yet. So I'm not real sure if the blood interferes with the results or not. For a sure pregnancy test you should go to your doctor. .
No, a period and a negative HPT (used at the appropriate time) indicates no pregnancy.
If your pregnancy test is positive then most likely you are. You would be more likely to get a false negative rather than a false positive. If you are unsure, you can request a beta HCG test from your doctor. This will measure the HCG hormone in your blood system which is an indicator of pregnancy. The pregnancy test is positive and you haven't had a period in two months. I see nothing to indicate that this is a 'phantom' pregnancy other than maybe wishful thinking. I've been told that the home test kits may give a false negative, but that they never indicate a false positive.
store bought pregnancy tests say they show results about 4-5 days before a missed period.
If it's positive, it 's accurate. If it's negative, you can't trust it until your period is a week or so late.
