Absolutely yes. There is no limit at to what kind of food or non-alcoholic drinks you can bring on a Southwest flight. The only limits are those imposed by the TSA regarding what you can bring through security - mostly pertaining to liquids. If you bring your sandwich from home and it has lots of mayo or mustard on it the TSA will probably take it. Anything that you buy from vendors on the secure side of the airport (after security) can be brought on the plane.

I believe only if you are flying internally or within the Country you are in. That's if the airline allows, its up to them. If you are flying abroad you will not be allowed to take any food on with you or in your suitcase either.
