After a prolonged service in a crude oil line wax deposits will be formed and reduce effective diameter for required flow .It is necessary to clean the long line effectively by launching a scraper in the pipeline and will made to travel along the line and it will clean the inner walls of pipe line by scraping.
To do this on line you need to have built in scraper launcher in original design it self, or else you have to shut down the line and fix scraper launcher to do this operation.
scraper is a metallic flexible object which will have outside diameter exactly to suit inside diameter of pipe to be cleaned.
scraper launcher is a pipe with isolation valves and blind at on end to insert the scraper.
