Peter contributed to Casino Royale as the character Evelyn Tremble but Geoffrey Rush's portrayal implicates (rejected) attempts by Sellers to treat the Bond role more seriously. One wonders what path Sellers career might have taken had the Bond producers taken his attempts seriously, but it seems that their target was the fine spoof that resulted in any case. It's also worth noting the degree at which the more recent version went to (seriously) follow the detail in this original. Shaken or Stirred 007 never looked better saving us all from the world's tourists. - A.Belz
