Warning: Don't Read Before The Book! It will ruin it. New Moon starts off when it is Bella's birthday. She is not very happy about getting older. So at school Alice Cullen tells her to come over later and gives her a present. In the present is a new outfit. Bella refuses but Jasper changes her mood. Later Edward drives Bella over and just like expected it is a party. Alice had did it a little to over the top, Bella thought. When Bella started opening her presents the first one was empty. That was because Emmet had already installed the radio in her car. The second present she sliced her finger and Jasper attacked. Edward guarded her and Jasper was pulled outside. Carlisle stitched it up and burned the bloody equipment. The next day Edward and Alice weren't at school. When Bella got home Edward was waiting outside. He took her for a walk in the woods. He told her that they all had to leave, not just cause of the incident but because of the fact that Carlisle looked younger for 30 years old. Bella pleaded but Edward said he didn't want her. After the Cullen's had left, Bella sulked all the time. Months passed and Charley confronted her. He said she would have to go to Florida if she didn't get happier. She said she would make plans maybe with Angela. She called Angela and they went to Port Angles to see a movie and shop. On the way out of the theater, Bella recognized some guys with motor cycles. She walked up to them, talked, and got on the motor cycle with him. she clearly heard Edward's voice. She told him to take her back and he did. She went home. The next day she went over to La Push to see Jacob. This time she had two motor cycles of her own. She asked Jacob to help build them back up and he agreed. They worked on the motor cycles together and Bella started feeling better. But Jacob started to develop stronger feelings for Bella. When they were done, Jacob was going to show her how to ride a motor cycle. When she tried she went to fast and hit her head really hard. She was okay though, just a gash on her head. Jacob told her that he was worried about Embry because of Sam and his gang. Later in the book Bella, Jacob, and Mike go to see a movie. During the movie Mike ran out and threw up in the bathroom. They decided to leave and Jacob wasn't feeling well. Bella said he was burning up with a fever. Later Billy claimed he had mono and couldn't have visitors. When she and Jacob make plans to cliff dive he wasn't around. So she went herself. Alice thought she was trying to kill herself. Alice told Rosalie and Rosalie told Edward. Alice showed up to be with Charley but when Bella showed up she was so surprised. Later Edward called Bella's house. Edward asked for Charley but Jacob said he was planning a funeral. That gave Edward the wrong impression. He thought Bella was dead, instead of Harry. So Edward went to Italy to be killed by the Volturi. They declined him because he had such great powers. When Bella and Alice show up, Bella must stop Edward from stepping into the sun. She is seconds late but still gets him out of the sun. The Volturi show up and talk to Edward, Bella, and Alice. They say they can leave as long as Bella becomes a vampire. Alice says she had a vision where Bella becomes a vampire so it wouldn't be a problem. Edward and the Cullen's come back to Forks. Edward tells Bella that he has a condition. That if he changes her that she must marry him. She agrees. I have read the book and seen the movie. I encourage you to both read and watch New Moon. I very much enjoyed it.
