ne advantage of bacteria is that you can use them to make foods like cheese and bread. also , some bacteria is helpful, like they live in our bodies and they help protect us from disease.
other bacterias cause disease, these are the bad bacteria. the type that can make people sick and perhaps even cause people to get so sick that they can die or maybe get really sick that they feel like they want to vomit on the floor

∙ 13y agoThe bacteria have better access to the nutrients, and are better able to get rid of waste products than if they were plated. Basically on the plate they can only access the nutrients underneath, and are therefore only able to grow horizontally, while in the broth they are surrounded by nutrients. As for waste products, it can be discarded without pooling in the one region, the way it would if the colony was growing on a plate.
