The two processes are abrasion and plucking.
What processes lead to glacial erosion? Describe them.
The two main processes that lead to glacial erosion are plucking and abrasion. Plucking is the process by which a glacier picks off rocks as it blocks over the land. The rock fragments freeze to the bottom of the glacier, gouging and scratching the bedrock as the glacier advances in the process of abrasion.
Soil erosion is found in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and some other places. But these are the basic places for soil erosion to be found in.

Air masses are described by two basic characteristics. Temperature and moisture, or humidity, are the main characteristics that define an air mass.
Loose sediments can become a sedimentary rock through the process of lithification. These sediments are compacted due to intense pressure and then undergo cementation to form sedimentary rocks.
in my point of view, the basic cause of soil erosion is water . this has tremendous soil cutting capacity due to various small particles and high speed of water flow. This high speedy water carries the upper- most fertile layer of earth crust needed for successful plant production. The other major cause for erosion is Wind. This ; carries the upper portion of soil up to a depth of 15mm and then a barren land is left.Heavy rains are also a cause of soil erosion.Soil erosion is mainly protected by growing tress , which capture the soil and do not allow it to move away. The three basic steps are erosion (weathering), transport (carrying silt), and deposition (carried load settles out).
