I love questions like this because you really get to see how people think and process things. I chose Medical Transcription as my career choice because I was no longer able to stand for long periods of time doing hair (hairdressing). Plus, I wanted to work at home in a low stress environment, and I wanted to make great money. I had some interest in medicine, and felt that I'd be good at it. My expectation going in were that this was not going to be difficult to learn and that I'd start making great money off the bat. I was wrong on both counts. It was the hardest thing I've ever learned, but I did it! The money was low at first but now that I'm experienced and fast, I am making VERY good money and I love love love love love working at home! Anyway, I'm glad that I chose this career and I can't imagine myself working outside the home again.
