No! First, they were not married. Second, the show would never have depicted more to their romance! Third, it would have been scandalous! So, no, Andy and Helen never had sex and never had a baby. It was a show set in the 1950s, remember.

Yes and no. They did not get married on the Andy Griffith Show, but they did get married on the spin off show Mayberry R.F.D. I believe it was in the first episode.
