The equality part sounds like Thomas Jefferson. The unity part sounds like Abraham Lincoln.
Well, Abraham Lincoln was a president while Robert E. Lee was the leader of the Confederate army. Now this is more of a matter of opinion, so I'll tell you mine...I personally think Abraham Lincoln was a way better leader than Robert E. Lee.First off, Abraham Lincoln was fighting for a better thing, uniting the country and ending slavery. But this does not really come into play about who was a better leader.Secondly, Abraham Lincoln's Union won the war! Although Robert E. Lee's Confederate Army was outnumbered, they had many more experienced soldiers, whilst the Union had very few trained soldiers and many young boys, so it's not like Lee was at a disadvantage...Thirdly, Abraham Lincoln went down as one of the most famous men in America. But if you asked Americans who Robert E. Lee was, 75% of them would probably say no... Thus showing that Abraham Lincoln was probably a better leader...So all-in-all, Abraham Lincoln was a tad bit better of a leader than Robert E. Lee....
Edwin Stanton and Abraham Lincoln had a complex relationship. Stanton initially distrusted Lincoln but later grew to respect and admire him. As Lincoln's Secretary of War during the Civil War, Stanton worked closely with him and became one of his most trusted advisors. Their relationship was characterized by mutual respect and collaboration in leading the Union to victory.
Nat Turner was executed in 1831. President Lincoln was not elected President until 1860.
Abraham Lincoln was, like the majority of the Republican party in the 1860s, a moderate. The party was made up of moderates like Lincoln, who believed that the Civil War was about the preservation of the Union and that slavery could be abolished through gradual emancipation, and Radicals, who thought that slavery had to be abolished at once and that was the point of the War. Although gradually Lincoln became more steadfast in his views of immediate abolition (he was instrumental in passing the 13th amendment abolishing slavery), he always remained moderate.
Abraham Lincoln did not like any kind of games. He was little bit interested in painting. He always wanted to go to school as he was very much interested in studies.
I wouldn't know, I'm not Abraham Lincoln.
