No. The series started in 1989 in Japan, and ended in 1996. In America, the series started in 1996 in the US, and ended in 2003. They are showing the uncut versions, redoing the voiceovers, and dubbing it Dragon Ball Z Kai. It's the same show, same episodes, just remastered.

Okay here's the real deal it is not coming out dragon ball heroes is an arcade game it's not coming out in US ever. dragon ball heroes: Ultimate Mission however is coming out the end of February 2013
