It appears to have been some sort of western style curb bit with the shanks shaped like revolvers.
Ted died in St Ignace, Michigan in the 1970's. A member of the Presbyterian Church and a wonderful teacher. Ted's wife a classical Viola and Piano player accompanied him for several years like Les Paul and May Ford. He was a crooner and sounded just like Bing Crosby. He was my first guitar teacher, I will never forget him. He also played behind Perry Como. He taught me from the music tracks on the movies South of the Border and San Antonio Rose along with Yellow Bird. He had a great 1940 Gibson L5 blonde guitar with floating De Armound pick ups. Junk DNA gene
The extension gene (E/e), or melanocortin-1 receptor, also called the eumelanin factor. Black pigment is called eumelanin; in a 'wild-type' horse the melanocortin-1 receptor (Mc1r) is homozygous normal; the genotype is EE. A missense mutation at Mc1r results in the inability of the horse to produce eumelanin. When the horse is heterozygous for this defect (Ee) it appears black. When it is homozygous (ee), it is red (chestnut). Other genes act on the horse's coat as well to produce the range of colours we know.
A gene codes for one type of polypeptide (protein).
When two cells have the same gene type then they are considered homozygous.

no. The ABO system and Rh blood group are already decided the moment sperm meets ovum. It is decided by the gene we have. For ABO classification, to put it simply people with A blood type has two A gene or one A gene plus one O gene. People with B type have two B gene or one B gene plus one O gene. People with AB type has one A gene and one B gene. O type has two O genes. A father passes one of his blood gene to his child and a mother passes one as well that the child now has two, and the combination is what decides the child's blood type. Bombay type is a very rare blood type different from A, B, or O. You can only have it if your family has a very rare gene, or in other words, if one of your family has it.
