It would be foolish to think they did not. An overwhelming majority of Germans and Austrians supported Hitler fully. There was German resistance, but not suffiecient enough to threaten Hitlers seat of power.
no he wanted to overthrow them :) h

in 1923 he did try to overthrow it, but he was sent to prison and had to change his approach.
In his quest to be elected and for the Nazis to gain power by the will of the people Hitler made a pledge in (amongst other places) court in Leipzig in 1930 to work within the system and only change things by consent of the parliament (the Weimar Republic).
So, initially he did not support it, but when he realised that he had to accept that this was Germany's form of government, he supported it.
The highest percentage of the popular vote that the Nazis got in free elections was 37% in July 1932. It fell to 34% in November 1932.
After the Nazis came to power, support among the German population fluctuated. (Goebbels monitored opinion using a team of journalists who analysed information provided by a large number of informants). The Nazis' popularity peaked in the summer of 1940, following the Germans' easy victory over France, then it began to fall off. After Stalingrad the Nazis' popularity fell sharply, though it got the occasional unintended boost from Allied bombing of the civilians population.
Some did, some didn't. The further the war progressed, the more the Wehrmacht realized that the war was out the of the control of the military and was largely given to the the Nazi party. Interestingly, discontent with the politicization of the war is directly related to several attempts on Hitler's life.
This is a gross over simplification of the answer to the question. If you are asking, you should spend an afternoon reading the history of the Wehrmacht and it's relationship with the Nazis.
yes the people supported hitler because they thought that he could deliver then out of their distress.
Hitler won support in Germany because he used extreme nationalism to bind the country together after a crushing defeat in World War I.
In Germany Hitler was the leader and he was famous to his people for a while...
Because Germany had gone into a depression and the people began to support the radical Nazis and communists instead of the failing democacy.
No but the name Adolf was common in germany.

The reason why Adolf Hitler was able to get enough support was because he bribed people he said he would do things for them, give them better houses, give them their land that got token away from them,so eventually everyone started voting for him but after,Hitler betrayed them and stopped voting and people regreted and when he was dead the people of Germany were very happy.
Hitler gave the German people more living-space, more food and drink, he promised change for the people of Germany; Hitler brought Germany out of the depression.

Adolph Hitler was the leader that Germany supported. He had been in the military but not when he took power.
Unfortunately, a sizable enough percentage of the German population supported Hitler's policies to elect him Chancellor of Germany. It was a sizable enough proportion to intimidate enough of the opposition to silence them.

During Hitler's rise to power in Germany, he had to purge certain Nazi's that were too extreme or that threatened the regular army in Germany. For example, the Brown Shirts were a paramilitary Nazi organization. They helped Hitler to gain a degree of power. For full control of Germany, the military high command wanted Hitler to purge the Brown Shirts if Hitler wanted the support of the German generals. This he did and there was bloodshed. Once in power, Hitler had many political enemies that he either placed in concentration camps or had them executed after treason trials. Hitler sent many innocent people to prison or to death camps.
