UpdateAfter entering the first part of my answer, I realized the reason for the question is probably that on May 15, 2010, Mr. Beck received an honorary Doctorate of Humanities degree from Liberty University. The honorary degree was a complete surprise to him. It was only announced a few moments before he was to take the podium to deliver the keynote address to the graduating class. It apparently left the normally unflappable Beck a little flustered with surprise.
