Does simba die

Simba does not die. But in the second film, he has a nightmare about the wildebeest stampede that happened in the first. Simba as an adult tries to safe his father, Mufasa. But, his evil uncle Scar (which his real name is Taka) who kills Mufasa in the first film. So Scar dugs his claws into Simba's right shoulder and says to him, "Trust me". Then Mufasa falls into the stampede. Simba as in the first movie yells no. Simba then turns around and blames Scar for Mufasa's death. Scar laughs evily and then he turns into Kovu. So Kovu does the same thing to Simba. But if Simba really died, I think that it would ruin the saga. Nothings the same without Simba.

Sarabi only appeared in the first movie. They had originally intended on her making an appearance in the sequels, however, she was cut from the films when her voice actress died. They never mention if she died in the film, she just doesn't appear.

According to the movies, Simba has not yet died. If Disney ever decides to make another Lion King movie, it is possible Simba may not be in it. But as of now, no-- Simba is not dead.
