It is conceivable (woodcut) Baseball cards may have been done in the past as this low contrast would mimic the bronze plaques of the Hall of Fame . Why not write the Hall and suggest this idea. I vaguely recall metallized Baseball cards dealing with Hall of Famers only and these were marketed via Johnson Smith in Florida-they are very much in business on the novelty front! Its a good idea, methinks/
