No. He was scheduled to, but his son became ill at the last second, and he had to withdraw. Also, Joni Mitchell was invited but had to do a gig; so in return, she wrote, and recorded "Woodstock."

Dylan lived in Woodstock for a period of time after his "accident" by motorcycle. He hid in the quietness of the town, away from the pressures of the press and media with The Band, which would go on to back him up in later years. Dylan lived with his wife and son, very close to "Big Pink," the house in which The Band members subsided.
