At the time Heath Ledger was playing the part of the Joker he was going through a great depression due to not being able to see his daughter Matilda Rose. Heath started to act as though he was actually the Joker to escape reality. Heath even started to write a diary in the Joker's perspective.
Yes. The movie was finished before he died.
Heath Ledger is the only real joker but at the beginning there are others who rob a bank that wear the joker masks
there isn't going to be anymore joker. he isn't in the next movie.
No, Johnny Depp has not been revealed as a member of the cast. New additions are; Tom Hardy, Marion Cottilard, Anne Hathaway.
Heath Ledger starred in a movie about Batman, though he didn't appear in the television series or movie Batman. He played the Joker in The Dark Knight (2008).
Christopher Nolan's Batman Series featuring The Dark Knight is a Trilogy, meaning there are three parts. In part one, Batman Begins (2005), the character is only featured toward the end, leaving a calling card for Batman. Part Two, The Dark Knight (2008), the role of the Joker is played by Heath Ledger. The Dark Knight Rises (Batman 3) is the final part of the trilogy and does not feature a role for the character. An animated adaptation of the comic book, The Dark Knight Returns, is scheduled to be released in two parts. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns will be released on Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital platforms on September 25th with the second part expected to land in February of 2013. "LOST' veteran Michael Emerson will be the voice actor playing the Joker character in the second part, rumored to feature a heavy role for the character.
Lt Gordon exclaims that the Joker has 'no other aliases.' One of the bank robbers explains that he was told to kill Jack the bus driver. The Joker himself gives Gambol his card, which clearly reads 'Jess Conrad Jackson,' a nod to the actor of 'the Man Who Laughs', Conrad Veidt.
As we are only just into the 21st century it is most unlikely.
Actually after a while it only took twenty five minutes to do Heath Ledgers make up for the Joker, the only reason i know this is because I met the guy who did his make up yesterday he said they did it so much and knew exactly what they had to do that after awhile it just took quicker and quicker and they got it down to twenty five minutes
Batman is mortal, Hercules only half. Batman is modern & more cerebral using multi technologies & Herc was more of a gladiator.
yes Nobody knows for sure. I remember reading somewhere that she had only saw a picture of the Joker and Heath said she sort of frowned at it.
Voted for: Heath Ledger When it comes to originality, Mark Hamill I'd also pick for performance in the majority in animations, but with Heath is the way he portrays is another instance, more humanly threatening in crime waves. He's much more dangerous even when he's sadly done so only once, the way he takes hits and how it pans out for his plans to make ends meet as the criminal mastermind who kills a lot. His Joker builds up a powerful threat that would do anything and manipulate others, even when looking like a smiling psychopath of sinister laughs.
It is 100% Heath Andrew Ledger. Not "Heathcliff" as the media misunderstood years ago. Yes, he was named after Heathcliff in Wuthering heights, but his mum used only "Heath".

Heath Ledger is the only actor to win an Oscar for appearing in a comic book movie. He appeared in The Dark Knight and portrayed the Joker.
The Joker doesn't die because if you watch at the end batman uses his grappling gun and ties him upside down. Two-Face/Harvey Dent is the one who dies at the end of The Dark Knight he dies when batman dives for Commissioner Gordon's son.
The protagonist in The Dark Knight is surprisingly the Joker. He is still the villain but if you observe closely he has an agenda and Batman's only goal is to stop him. This would put the Joker as the film's protagonist and Batman as the antagonist. This similar style of a villain based protagonist can be seen in Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula" where the vampire count is the protagonist and "good-guy" vampire slayer Van Helsing is the antagonist, simply attempting to put an end to vampires deeds.
Heath Ledger
