AnswerThere were a few others, but not much. People didn't know how to read and the Church controlled all the information. The Church also taught the people that they were the link between man and God and it was only through them that man could be saved from his sins. This is one reason why it is so important for people to know how to read and think so no one cancontrol what you know. The medieval church did a really great job of controlling the information that it spanned the entire society from science to the arts. If they didn't know it, then, it was a lie, heresy or didn't exist. There are people today who would love to have that type of control again. AnswerMonks and bishops were certainly not the only educated medieval people. There were many educated people aside from clergy, and in fact there even secular schools. I would suggest looking for more information at the related question, "How were people educated in the middle ages?" Another related question might be of interest, "How were women educated in the middle ages?" Both of these questions have links for further study.
The medieval concept of Heaven is much as the modern concept is. The Church has not changed its teachings, and there is really no new information. It is and has been viewed as a place for the departed spirits of good people, who worship God in an attitude of bliss. I think even the harps are included in the medieval ideas on the subject.
I don't know very much, but I do know that as women did a lot of men's jobs during the second world war, after the war was over, women still kept up some of their jobs.

Not much. We have much more. One thing we don't have is thousands dying of plague.
People didn't know much then. Such as cures, and medical reasons.
A pilgrimage is a journey undertaken for religious reasons. The medieval pilgrimages were very much the same sort of thing as those of ancient or modern times, in that regard. What made them special was that they gave people reasons to travel great distances at a time when relatively few people did travel. This connected people from different parts of the world and expanded knowledge.
Medieval doctors did not know about microorganisms, and since they had no idea what caused the Plague, they had no idea as to how to help its victims.
We really do not know much about the dances of the Middle Ages, because the techniques of recording how people danced, used by more modern dancers and choreographers, did not exist at the time. There are a very few written descriptions of dance, and only a few pictures. There is a link to an article on medieval dance below.

Myths serve various purposes, such as explaining natural phenomena, teaching morals and values, providing a sense of cultural identity, and helping to make sense of the world and human existence. They often have symbolic meanings that transcend their literal interpretations, offering insights into the human experience and connecting individuals to their cultural heritage.
The knowledge of other cultures effected the medieval society. How it effected the medieval society is there other belief's, values, money and society. The beliefs what people had in different gods and Churches than the medieval society had. The different technology they used, the values what they give and how much money they had. This effected medieval society.
