Monks were always members of families - they had mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. In that sense they had families, but in general terms they did not have any contact with these relatives after becoming monks.

If you mean "Did they have wives and children?" the answer is definitely no, since monks were never permitted to have relationships with women or to get married.

probably not because they weren't aloud to have children a common story priests told was about a woman who bore a priest 4 sons a few days after the priest died the sons told there mother to beg for forgivness for her sins but she didn't a soon died the sons staayed with the body for 3 nights on the first night the bier began to shake, on the second night the same thing happened and the devil appeared but the sons faught with the devil and kept the body but on the 3rd night an army of devils appeared and took the body, but no-one knows where
