Dr. Joann Fletcher did believe she found Nefertiti's mummy in the tomb KV35 in the Valley of the Kings, but Dr. Zahi Hawass, Egypts leading mummy hunter (he is always seen with an Indiana Jones hat on), believes otherwise and thinks it is the mummy of a 15 year old boy. He has banned Dr. Fletcher from Egypt and thinks she made up all the evidence. No one can no for sure if it is Nefertiti's mummy so sadly, Nefertiti is again lost in History.
Nefertiti's tomb is somewhere in Amarna, it has not been found, however her mummy may be the KV35 "The Elderly Lady", as most of the features match her famous bust in Berlin, however, the mummy may be Tiye's. For, now her mummy has not been found either.

Neferneferuaten Nefertiti was the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. There are many theories about her burial, however, the mummy has never been found. Archeologist Victor Loret found two female mummies in the tomb of Amenhotep II in 1898, and believes 'The Elder Lady' to be Nefertiti.

The tomb, as well as the body, of Nefertiti has not been found. Originally, there is no actual statement of her death, which makes it harder to find where she is buried. King Akhenaten's tomb had some of Neftiti's jewelry with her cartouche on it found, but no body. In 2003, her body was allegedly found in tomb KV35 in the Valley of Kings. The body had been severely desecrated at the time of or after death. The mummy was found with a wig that had the distinctive hair style of the Queen and a snapped arm which had originally been a royal pose. However, it was later found that the mummy in that tomb was male. The search of Nefertiti still exists, as the Queen has not been found yet.
Nefertiti's son was Tutankhamun, also known as King Tut. He ascended the throne at a young age and is best known for his intact burial tomb and the treasures found within it.
