The U.S. should have ratified the treaty of versailles because if it did, then maybe we could have helped the league of nations pervent WWII
There is much that people today can learn from the long term results of the Treaty of Versailles. Specifically, it is that people should not severely punish the losing side following a war. They should make the terms of any treaty fair and moderate to all concerned.
yes...... because he didn't like the original treaty in the first place....thats all i know...bye

The treaty of Versailles did nothing of the sort!! It was the culmination of lengthy peace talks after the first world war between the Allies, to decide how badly Germany should be punished.
Hitler held on to the Treaty of Versailles and used it to convince the rest of Germany that the Allied Powers were to blame. He basically said that Germany should take revenge on Britain for the damages Britain did to them.

During the Treaty of Versailles, the Italians had no vote, so they weren' t able to vote for anything that would have benefit for themselves. They were at the mercy of Allied forces. The Italians could have suggested something during the treaty, but it most likely would have gone by unnoticed.
i think you may be a bit confused. the us president, Woodrow Wilson, DID sign the Treaty of Versailles along with the other allied powers. however, the us didn't join the league of nations, which i think is what you may be talking about.
