Did the Korean war come before or after the cold war?
The Korean War was part of the Cold War.
The cold war was NOT A SHOOTING WAR. Cold war means a stand-off. The Korean War was part of the cold war...a "Hot" battle of the cold war. "Hot" meaning a SHOOTING WAR. The cold war consisted of Communists verses NON-Communists. In the Korean War, the communists TRIED to take over a country by force (South Korea). The Free World (Non-Communists) stopped them.
