No. Russia was one of the countries fighting against Germany. After the revolution they made peace and pulled out of the war thus Germany could concentrate her full resources against the western allies. That gave Germany one last chance to win. Luckily, they couldn't quite do it.

That depends on your definition of "significant." Russia's revolutions took the nation out of the war. All the German troops on the Eastern Front were diverted to the Western Front to fight the combined Allies troops. Despite the increase in manpower, American commitment put the last nail or two in the German coffin. The effect of the revolution only made the need for the US's into the war necessary, but did not change the outcome.
