Hank Williams Sr. performed at the Ryman Auditorium on several notable occasions, with some of his significant performances taking place in 1949 and 1950. He was a regular on the Grand Ole Opry and made his debut there in 1949. His last performance at the Ryman was on December 17, 1952, shortly before his untimely death in 1953.
