The Titanic was built by Harland and Wolff yards in Belfast, UK and launched from there. Laid down: 31st March 1909 - Launched: 31st May 1911 Liverpool was written on the ship as it was registered there.

the company that made the titanic white star line was from Liverpool and so was the captain of the ship

Actually the Captain was not from Liverpool, he lived in Southampton. A statue of him can be found in Beacon Park, Lichfield because his hometown of Hanley, Stoke on Trent did not want it after Titanic went down.
