Yes. Midget subs.
Any British General? General Bernard Law Montgomery
It entirely depends on the war. In the Crimean War, the Ottoman Empire was an ally of the British and French. In World War I, the Russian Empire and, later, the United States were allies of the British and the French. In World War II, the British and French had no strong allies until 1941 when the United States and Soviet Union allied with them.
1. It was a world war 2. First time chemical warfare was used 3. British invented the tank
Currently, there is NO such competition from any other nation. The Soviets (Russians) might be close competitors, but they mostly have subs.
cause the British told them they didn't need any help but at the end they joined when they messed something of the Americans
Like almost any other nation's submarines; they were just subs. It just so happens that Germans call their subs U-boats (under-sea boats).

Britain didn't have any troops in the Pacific during World War 2
It was partly the sinking of the Luisitania and the fact that the Germans declared that they would use their subs against any ship they wanted to.
US Subs patrolled the world's oceans, including the Vietnam coastline. Other than possibly any covert operations, US submarines just patrolled, and kept an eye on any Soviet subs working in the South China Sea (Vietnamese Coastline).
yes
Yes. the Royal Canadian Navy maintained a submarine arm in both world wars. interestingly Canadian subs were code-named after Indian Tribes. this can be taken without reservation- pun intended. It is understood they still are. The modern RCN has only conventional ( Diesel electric) submarine, not atomic ones. the RN ( British) has nuclear subs, as does France. the only allied countries having atomic subs other than the US are Britain and France. Sorry, Fair Italy does not have any atomic subs, but they have a neat conventional arm. an Italian built sub held the world depth record in a controlled plunge in the late forties. The Bathyscaphe-X went down l0,334 feet- this was way., way ahead of it"s time. Craft was crafted byNavalmeccanica in Italy.
Because they were patriotic and didn't know any better.
Just like any other nation's subs. A metal tube with men living inside them. They all were nearly the same: engine, air tanks, fuel, torpedoes, deck guns, propellers (screws). The only difference was the language written inside on the instruments, the color scheme, insignia's painted on them, etc. All nation's had more than one size sub: they had midget subs (aka mini-subs), one man subs with the crewmen sitting atop the vessel like riding a motorcycle, aircraft carrier subs (like the giant I-400's), supply subs, fuel carrying subs, coastal subs, etc.

The British were fighting against the Turks, aided as they were by the Germans, in Iraq & Palestine.
they did want war. they started it by establishing a war zone around the british isles and sinking any and all ships sailing under the flags of Britain.
