Crescent or HD Folsom
THey were made by crescent firearm company.
The Crescent 60 double barrel 16 gauge shotgun was manufactured by Crescent Firearms Company, which operated from the late 19th century until the 1930s. Specifically, the Crescent 60 model was produced primarily during the 1920s. These shotguns were known for their affordability and were popular among hunters and sport shooters of that era.
Probably Wyeth Hardware & Manufacturing Company, St. Joseph MO. Wyeth didn't manufacture their own guns. Most authors give credit to Crescent Fire Arms, but there must have been others after Crescent went out of business. And since Model 1929 was a Stevens gun and they bought the Crescent company, that would be my guess.
The Newport 12 gauge single barrel model C was manufactured by the Crescent Fire Arms Company. Founded in the late 19th century, Crescent produced a variety of shotguns and rifles, primarily known for their affordable, reliable firearms. The Newport model was one of the many single-barrel shotguns they offered during their operation.
This was a trade name sold by Belknap Hardware. Manufacturers included Crescent Fire Arms, Crescent-Davis Arms, Davis-Warner Arms, Iver Johnson, and J. Stevens A&T Co.
