He was disqualified but retained his medal. He also competed in the first MotoX Racing at X Games, but didn't achieve a medal after 2 false starts in the heat race and last chance qualifier.2008 - Pastrana takes gold in Rally and competed in the Speed and Style event but didn't place.2009 - Pastrana attempts a rodeo 720 at X Games 15 in the Moto X Best Trick Event. He took silver in Rally after being defeated by rookie and former Indy Car/Indy 500 champion Kenny Bräck.

Where did travis pastrana grow up?
It was based on him wanting to win so bad that his parents never let Travis go to school so he could just ride,ride, and ride some more. It was a good thing that his parents did that or else Travis wouldn't be living his wonderful life that he has right now. When Travis was 4 years old, he got his first motorcycle and wanted to start racing at about 4 years and one minute!!! Later, Travis started attending Loretta Lynn's amatuer national and really showed his speed. His strong desire to win is what makes him our hero today and his determination from coming back from injuries was incredible. So, either if it was luck or it was just hard work and focus is what makes him a Supercross, Motocross, and Motocross of Nations champion, Freestyle, and Rally Car champion. Thanks Travis for showing us what can be done on a motorcycle using major determination and the act of never never never NEVER NEVER GIVING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! he never ever ever ever gave up and he won RBI student ministries 1990 Spring Valley Road Tuscumbia,AL Real People Real Church
