The male and female pelvic areas vary in a number of ways, as required by the differences in internal organs and their function. The most obvious difference is a shorter, broader pelvis in females, which is limited by the need to articulate the hips and legs (to walk upright in a normal manner).

Characteristics of Male Pelvis :
