Expressionism sought to express the meaning of "being alive" and emotional experience rather than physical reality. It is the tendency of an artist to distort reality for an emotional effect; it is a subjective art form. Abstract means there is no recognizable subject in the picture. Click link and see some expressionist pictures! The one by Kandinsky is abstract, the others are not.

Expressionism is a French and German movement, which started in the eraly 20th century. Typically it has very colorful, distorted figures.

Abstract Expressionism arose in the 1940s in the US. It is non-figurative, i.e. there is no identifiable subject.

There are different types of abstract work - formal, lyrical and spiritual. Some formal painters had very spiritual intentions (like Mondriaan or Malevitsch). Still, much of our utility buildings etc. looks much like mondriaans work, and there's not much spirituality about that, is there.

Non-objective is a term more used before ww2, where abstraction was still used to get loose from the old classical realistic way of painting. After ww2, a new start was made in art history - then intentions within abstract art became much more formal and ideological - and less spiritual/idealistic.
