A bachelor's is a three or four year degree, depending on where you take it. It is your basic college degree.

A graduate degree is a "post-graduate" degree, such as a Master's or a PhD/DPhil. A graduate degree is anything above the bachelor's degree.

They build on each other. You need a bachelors degree to get a graduate degree.

A BS or BA typically takes 4 years to complete; whereas, an MS or MA can take up to 2 years after you recieve a bachelor's degree, and a PhD requires more education above the master's degree.
