Here's a very basic list -- you can always try shopping online for more stuff:

Chafing dishes (which need chafing candles and different size pans), serving spoons, tongs, dinnerware (either actual plates or nice-looking disposable ones), flatware, and an insulated bags (for transport of food if not being prepared on site).

There are a ton of supplies that you'll need for a restaurant service. To get started you might need menu covers, leather coasters for drinks, leather placemats and maybe a plastic ice bucket if you're going to be serving chilled beverages. Those are really just a few things that are needed in restaurant service.

If you're running a place that serves soups, Sandwiches and salads, you will need a far different kitchen than if you had a full-menu French restaurant.
