the wind is a type of renewable energy-use it and some will come along later.

once you burn coal,it's gone -certainly in your lifetime-it's non renewable.

A renewable fuel is anything that can replenish at roughly the same rate we consume it. Corn used for ethanol is one example. The corn replenishes at a rate as fast as we use it.

Non renewable is anything that we consume at a rate faster then we can replenish. For example, we have roughly 700 years of oil left. Once this is gone, we will not have anything left. Coal, oil, nuclear and trees are examples.

Trees could be renewable if we consumed at the same or lower rate then we grew new ones to maturity.
