Menu is composed (most of the time) with a starter, a main plate and a dessert, but there are 1 to 3 choices for each, the price is known from the beginning.

A la carte means you take whatever you want, but the prices are adding.

So first have a look to menu, then if you hardly can find something you'd like to eat then read what is à la carte, add prices and make the difference.

Then the choice is up to you.
