Can have low area coverage, and only 1/10 of the speed as the physical line.
Interference, reliability, and security.
The following are some disadvantages of a wireless network:
A terrestrial wireless link is less secure and less reliable and for long distance links there is a shortage of spectrum space. A satellite link is superior to wire for long distances, but is more expensive for purely local use.
One disadvantage of Wireless Networking is that the speed (Mbps) of it can (Not always depending on the modem and network) be slower than wired connection. Also it has some security risks of people connecting to your network and doing malicious things. Also interferance can effect it such as phones and microwaves.
Hi, for those who dose not know the disadvantages of a wireless connection, I would like to tell the answer.
Having wireless could be bad, other users (i.e: neighbours), they could get into your router if you have it unlocked, or having a easy password.
without notes your ISP will sent you note about that much cost for example. And you say to yourself 'I did not even use that much'. That why you never sell out your wireless detials unless you know what you are fully doing.
Now days, people just can't trust. Whatever they say will be turned into fakeness. Just set your password like 'my dogs name is sam, he lives in that small house. he eat alot and makes a lot of s**t around my house' with out the quote.
If that helped, please email me at lozu@live.com.
-Shorter range than wired connections
-More prone to interferences
-Several wireless networks can interfere with each other
Some of the disadvantages of the wireless computer network includes the following:
-bandwidth issues
-complex configuration in terms of security
-distance issues

You don't need to connect wire between the wireless device it is easy to set than cable devices.use anywhere with Wi-fi availabilityuse in any room in your house
Wired communications are not portable so are no good in an emergency situation.
Wireless tends to be slower than a wired network in most cases, wireless networks are also more inconvenient for desktops if you don't have a built in wireless adapter.
Is what wired or wireless?
Wired communications have the following advantages. It is more secure than wireless communication since it uses cables rather than air, it is reliable because it is not susceptible to signal loss and it is faster as compared to wireless communication.
Wired media are forms of wired communication in which all is transmitted via a wired as opposed to wireless connections. Cable television, wired telephone networks and fiber optics are all considered wired communications. Even wireless devices like mobile phones, the internet and satellite communications still need to rely on wired communications.
Wired transmission media is media used to transfer information over a network, such as Twisted Pair cable. This is opposed to wireless transmission media which uses radio waves to transmit information. There are many types of wired transmission media such as coaxial cable, telephone lines, etc. Basically any form of wire used to transmit information over a network is considered a wired transmission media.
Wired communication is having a physical wire connected to each device so they can talk to each other, an ethernet cable for example. A wireless connection is talking between each device via radio waves.
The Cisco Aironet wireless adapter is used for data communication between fixed, portable and mobile devices using both wired and wireless infrastructure.
Of course wired.
Wired but maybe you can get wireless from somewhere.
