There is a myth that HDMI is better than other signal formats. Be assured that this is absolutely not true. ∙ 12y agoWhether or not it works depends upon the source. Non-copy protected signals such as computer desktop displays can use this adapter, but copy protected signals that use HDCP - High Definition Content Protection such as Blu-ray Players (including players built into computers) will not work.

Short answer, no. This is because VGA is analogue and HDMI is digital so an adaptor is not going to convert the signal. You can buy them but the chances are they will not work.
