It takes a torx 45mm bit which fits exactly. All you have to do is remove the two torx bolts and pull them out - while watching the rubber boot. Pull up and away on the caliper from the rotor. It will lift out of the bottom, then secure the heavy caliper to the spring to support it. The pad can now be slid out. The reason you stripped the bolt is that the factory uses a locking compound on the threads. If you can not get it out because of it being stripped, you may have to remove the entire caliper by removing the two large bolts. They also have compound on the threads. A breaker bar, and using about a 3 foot iron pipe as an extension on the end will work on the(18mm? bolts). An air gun will just not work unless you have enough air (two stage) and a harden socket. You might want to purchase a 45mm torx that is used especially for brakes, it sort of has a hood on it as the bit is set in and keeps your bit from jumping around. I got mine at the autostore for a few bucks.
