yes
If your radiator is leaking then you will need to replace it. Additionally, if you find that your car is constantly running hot you will need a new radiator.
maybe your radiator is broken and you need to get a new one or just get a reparation if the radiator starts leaking when is in use it may be leaking because of the pressure of the water.
Replace the radiator with a new or good used one.
When the current one is leaking or plugged.
its usually got something to do with radiator, might need some new fluid
A leak in a coolant system can usually be fixed by replacing a hose. If the leak is at the end of the hose, a new clamp might be necessary. If the radiator is leaking, the radiator might need to be replaced.
Check the radiator hoses. The coolant is either leaking out of the new radiator, or it is coming from a radiator hose. The water pump may be leaking. Hose clamps may be loose.
Drain the water from the radiator. Remove the radiator hoses. Remove the radiator stabilizer arm. Remove the radiator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new radiator.
It's defective.
That's an easy question. You replace it when it's leaking all over the inside of you truck and radiator "leak stop" wont seal the leak. As long as it's not leaking you don't need a new one.
Check your transmission fluid, The cooler that runs through the radiator may be leaking into the cooling system. If so, the radiator will need to be replaced, and possible transmission will need to be flushed as well. Good Luck!
If the torque converter seal has failed you will need to pull either the transmission or the engine. If it's a half-shaft seal you won't need to pull the engine, just the axle shaft. I am the original poster, it is now leaking tranmission fluid & antifreeze at the same time. If it is leaking at the transmission cooling line in the radiator do I need a new radiator or can hoses be replaced or nuts tightened?
