Some Irish people are. This particularly the case with the older generation. It is not unusual to see religious objects in Irish houses. Irish people pray and attend the different types of religious services. The younger generation tend not to be so religious. Problems in the churches, such as scandals, are one of the reasons for the change in the levels of people who actively practice their religions. Overall though, Ireland would still be regarded as being a religious country.
