I was on the Poms Team at my middle school in 8th grade (just this last year). Poms is definatley not as high leveled as a high school dance team. I would mainly say in Poms you focus on learning multiple routines and some (very little in my case) teqnique. When I tried out for my high school dance team, I did not make it. It was very intense learning all of the teqnique. I have since started taking dance classes, as Poms really did not prepare me for it. So basically, for Poms I would say you need the ablility to dance, and be able to do basic turns, kicks, leaps etc.

DO Some calf streches before doing this exersice 1st u need some weights to build up ur leg for the kick. Then use the weights and push up and down. Start low then work high this helped me when i play rugby for sg ball under 18s. in 2 months u will see results u kicks will go higher and farer for longer kicks
