no because they are in the attic where it is warm :DDD haha
I could be a squirrel taking refuge in your attic during the winter. Or it could be a rat.;-)
Yes, Nova Scotia has spiders. They hibernate in the winter months but we do have spiders.
Spiders most often do die of old age and/or the coming of winter. The ones that get killed before they reach the normal death by old age part of their lives are generally the victims of wasps that sting them into a kind of coma and then lay their eggs inside them. For humans we say somebody didn't die by natural cause(s) when that person has been poisoned, shot, stabbed, etc. by another human. Spiders kill other spiders, and sometimes spiders kill other spiders of their own species. Spiders also get poisoned, stepped on, blasted away by garden hoses, and other acts of lethal violence perpetrated by humans. Even so, my guess is that most spiders die from old age or from freezing to death when winter comes. A few may die from floods, prairie fires, forest fires, and other such natural causes.
Generally spiders hide and find warm places to live such as in wood piles and under rocks or they come inside to reside with us. Some spiders do die off in winter, but they lay eggs before they die that will hatch when it gets warm. Some spin webs to insulate themselevs to endure the weather. A few types of spiders hibernate in warm areas, but they occasionally wake up to search for food.
Installing an attic fan cover in your home can help prevent heat loss in the winter, reduce cooling costs in the summer, and prevent pests from entering your attic.
Yes, once they give birth they die. LOL dumb spiders
Away. That's all that matters.
Most spiders hibernate but some die only to have their spiderlings come out in the spring. See this website for more details. http://www.spiderzrule.com/answers.htm#Do_spiders_hibernate_in_Winter

no winter did not die
In winter, the humidistat setting for your attic fan should typically be set to a lower humidity level, around 30-40%. This helps prevent moisture buildup and condensation, which can lead to mold growth and damage to your attic insulation and roofing materials. Adjusting the humidistat ensures that the fan operates only when necessary, maintaining a dry and healthy environment in the attic during colder months.
Attic soffit vents help to improve air circulation in the attic, reducing moisture buildup and preventing mold and mildew growth. This can also help lower energy costs by keeping the attic cooler in the summer and preventing ice dams in the winter.
