Badgers don't really have any real predators, they are reluctant to come into contact with humans, and would simply run off into a nearby wildlife garden. However, an injured or sick badger if cornered, could attack as a form of defense. If a badger is trapped, it could lash out to get away. If a dog is trying to attack or harass a badger, it might attack the dog for to protect itself. Badgers can be potentially dangerous and aggressive with sharp powerful, claws and strong bite. They also have thick skulls, and may appear to be dead when only unconscious. In this situation they may become fully awake without warning, and if cornered or startled could attack.
