Bats are not mice with wings. Their only real connection to mice is that they are both mammals and rodent sized. Bats are not actually rodents, however. Unlike mice, they use echolocation to find food, and bats have completely different diets from mice.
Rats unlike bats can see in the dayime. Rats also live in some houses bats do not. Rats also already have four legs too. Too many advantages could affect the food chian too. If this happens well... lets just say it won't end well.
Well, yes, that´s practically the definition of a bat. Bats are the only mammals to develop active flight, meaning flapping wings. The wings are made up of the same bones we use for our hands, but connected with skin.
First, bats aren't birds, they're mammals. In fact, in German the word for "bats" is "fledermausen", or "flying mice".
(Note that despite the name, bats are not especially closely related to mice. They're both placental mammals, but so are people and horses.)
Most bats eat insects; a few eat fruit or plants, and a very few are carnivorous and prey on vertebrates. Some of these would be capable of eating mice, but as far as I know there isn't any species that makes a particular habit of it.
You may be thinking of a bird like the owl which IS a predator on mice, voles, and rodents of every kind.
Yes, their wings have a claw-like appendage for grabbing, and they have two back legs.
