Yes I am pretty sure they catch mice for fun if they are domestic cats unless you don't feed them enough, then they might hunt so feed them at least two times a day a can of cat food or special cat tuna. Not human tuna it can kill them. Milk might make them throw up you can try feeding them it but if it throws up stick to water hope this helped:) Maybe you should talk to the vet about that though.

Sometimes cats eat mice for fun, other times if they are barn cats or cats that have been rescued from being feral for some time, they will catch them out of instinct and either eat them or give them to you as a present. If they do that, btw, don't make a big fuss out of it, they are just being cats, just take the mouse outside and bury it. You may even want to praise the cat a little for it's kindness in sharing its meals with you.
