Yes, all birds sneeze. Sometimes they may shake their head after sneezing, or a nostril might be visible if its protective feather was disorientated. If the bird is sneezing too often, it most probably means that it is sick. Their sneezes sound just like tiny versions of a human sneeze.

Yes, they can get things stuck up their nose and they sneeze to get it out. Hearing them sneeze every once in a while is normal. If the cockatiel sneezes constantly, time to see a vet.

Certainly they have nasal irritation like humans and this can be caused by dust in the home, dusty food etc or even a cold
